Mandurah Duck Race

The Rotary Family Fun Day and Duck Race is a free community event held on Eater Saturday on the Mandurah Eastern Foreshore.
The event brings all sectors of the community together to celebrate Easter and interact in a safe, alcohol, drug and smoke free environment. There is no entry fee, with free entertainment, displays by local businesses and market stalls involving art, craft and speciality products.
The event provides family entertainment and activities and concludes with two Duck Races held on the estuary. Each duck represents a ticket sold by local community groups and the first three ducks in each race win major prizes. Half of the income for each ticket sold is returned to the community ‘not for profit’ group.
The Family Fun Day and Duck Race was traditionally run as a joint effort between three Rotary Clubs in Mandurah. The Rotary Club of Mandurah Districts wishes to acknowledge the great contribution from the other Clubs and members in the past.

The Family Fun Day
The Family Fun Day starts at 10.00am and during the day there will be free activities for children and family that include kid’s rides, face painting, speciality food vendor stalls and exclusive local art & craft works and much much more.
The event delivers live local entertainment all day promoting local singers, bands and dancers on the main stage.
Our Mascot race promotes local business, senior schools and sports clubs who fight it out to win the highly valued useless Rotary Duck Race Trophies for this event.

The World Class Duck Races
We hold two world class Duck Races during the Family Fun Day and the first race will be the $50 Corporate Duck Race followed by the $5 Duck Race.
Ducks are put in the water to race at the Mandurah Eastern Foreshore at around 3:00 pm subject to tide and weather. About 10,000 ducks are released.
For businesses there is the Corporate Duck Race. There are only 500 plastic ducks race tickets for sale in this race and businesses can win:
